I am delighted that you’ve decided to visit my site. You may have already heard of me through my children’s literature website: http://www.childtasticbooks.com.

My name is Samantha (Sam) Pope, and I have two major specialisms: editorial work and literature/literacy. Often, the two go hand in hand.

I’m a freelance writer, editor and proofreader. I write blogs, teaching materials, articles, reports, reviews and also short stories and, more recently, my first novel.

In my other job, I am a part-time librarian in a primary school, where I run storytimes, advise pupils and staff on books, maintain stock, write newsletters and blog posts, arrange author visits and design activities linked to books we read.
